In February the Friends welcomed a group of students from the School of Architecture, Art and Design Creative at the University of Portsmouth. ‘The Soul of Gosport’ was the title of the students’ design project. Their challenge was to design a ‘spatial installation to revive some of the hidden histories’ of the Bastion.

Despite the seasonal wet weather everyone had an enjoyable time. A few of the Friends shared their knowledge about the Bastion with the students. We look forward seeing the results of the students’ work.
